Have you tried looking in the FSM?

I spent some time reading through the FSM and didn't find any specifics, unfortunately. If you can find the FSM section that shows ECU pinout descriptions, you should find the VSS wire. There are two, by the way: there's one from the speed sensor on the transmission output shaft that sends to the TCU, and a second that sends from the gauge cluster to the ECU. So a TCU pinout description might help as well. I couldn't find either, but the computer I'm working with hates PDF so I wasn't able to look all that hard.

If you had tried searching for one, you would've found this in mere seconds.

Thanks! I did search - and came up with a bunch of empty links. I sincerely appreciate the link but am disappointed in your efforts to assume I didn't look for it.

Ok, VSS wire - I looked at the radio plug in the manual on page # AV-18 and wonder if the wire that controls the speed sensitive volume (terminal #18) is the one I need??

I looked on some of our programs and this is what i have found. Two of my programs say that it is a lt. blue wire that is AC voltage and one program says it is behind the radio and gauge cluster and the other says that it is just behind that gauge cluster. so i hope this helps !!

I've just put Avic-x920bt in my S model of '10 Versa and I was looking for the VSS wire too to control volume on my radio automatically. I hoped that #18 wire would be connected in my standard low end radio single connector harness but there was not one. Is there another place where I can look for it? Also I already soldered long wire to go to the back for backup light input, but if there is one closer to the dash I'd rather attach it there for my backup camera to work. it is bad enough I have to run picture wire from the camera to the radio, so I would like to have closer place for the signal wire. I looked for both in the service manual, but I could not find it. Thank you for your answers...
