I live in Boston, Gonna be driving to Orlando FL in june, my car has 46k on it, its gonna be about 3k of driving, I already took the time off work so theres no turning back, put the miles on my maxima and have a blast driving or be a passenger in a 5 spd 4cyl VW beatle? !Flying is not an option, going to see family in SC, VA, and GA.

Take the Max! No need to be couped up in a little bug when you've got a great cruiser. Just do a little preventative maintenance before you go, and be sure to put lots of wax on the front end (it'll help getting the 80mph bugs off).

Yeah, the Maxima is a GREAT road trip car. I've taken the '04 from SLC to Phoenix and back before and loved it. It's a great highway cruiser and managed 31mpg on the trip.
