When drifting (or in my case learning) it's probly a good idea to put your stock wheels back on with cheap tires huh?

unless u can afford to replace the tires often. not to mention what if i decide to put it sideways into a curb. bye bye rim. i would just for the fact that tires for the stock rims are like 50 per as opposed to alot more for aftermarket lo-pro's

Yeah that's exactly why I was pondering that. No I didn't curb my car. lol. I was thinking of scouting my area for an empty place to try out drifting. Since the tread on my stocks is bare.. what tire would you suggest? Just the stock replacement or something slightly better?

Lucky you. I'd love to get 300ZX wheels as like a drifting wheel but I don't have the 5 lug conversion~

Z32, S14 SE, R32 GTS-T;

All good, cheap wheels for drifting, if you have 5 lug. I have 4 S14 SE's, and 2 R32 GTS-T's. I will probably also pick up 2 more S14 SE's soon. I use Kumho 712's on my S14's, I had Pirelli P6000's (CRAP!) and some crappy Falkens on my R32's.

Those are my drift wheels, and I'm going to get some new wheels for daily driving and grip events:5Chicken FN01R-C or Black Racing N1 Pro;17*9 +35 w 255/40R1717*8 +25 w 235/45R17

Probably either Yoko ES100's or Dunlop FM901's.

Haha nice.

Hey Beer, thos Black Racing wheels look good. I thos were one of my first picks when I was rim shopping.

Anyway, I'll stick to my ugly teardrop stockers and buy generic tires.. just to learn on.

for you guys new to drifting i highly recommend getting a lsd!!!! you can get the J30 lsd for cheap from a junk yard. and this part bolts right up on the s13 and s14 with or with out abs... it does have a slightly larger gearing but the 2.4 liter torque does fine... and this provides better highway mileage as well....

I run **** tires with 150hp, and run thru 10 an event. Used is a great way to go but after doing an event with new I have a funny feeling it might be better.

Old rubber may be brittle compared to new.
