I was wondering what the going rate for a rebuild with oversized pistons is going for on a 4 cylinder. I am just thinking about lowering the compression ratio with some 8.5:1 pistons and a general rebuild with gaskets and bearings, possibly ARP studs head and mains. Also is there someone specifically that speciallizes on KA24 rebuilds that could be recommended.

Thanks

uhmm I know with rods and pistons, full balance and blueprint, cleaning and all that stuff, flatlanderracing.com does it for about $2000 including parts. Never used them before though, so I cant really say anything about them as a company..

flatland is a really good company, that is where our shop orders a lot of our parts from.

it is a single shop to the best of my knowledge. Give them a call, but i know they get parts really fast and do really good work on the v8 stuff.

Wow I am looking at their site now and it seems impressive.

I would like to go with them.

Does anyone have personal experience with their rebuild work?
