After all this whining about me never being able to find parts, I was recommneded to a junkyard on the south side of indianapolis
For those who care its called BRICKYARD IMPORTED CAR PARTS..
Im going to see about finding some seats (and probably wont affect the cars for sale status) as well as some other misc things.....
Now while im there Ill be more than happy to remove and ship some parts to other people.....
Heath? You still want the climate controller if I can find it for like under $50?
Rex- Ill find the center bezel thingy with ashtray, and a black steering wheel if I can find it..
Who else needs parts?? Ill pick up whatever you want assuming that it can fit in the trunk of my car! (IE no engine and trannies)

I bought the one from rixkix's 94 that he's parting out. It arrived today, and unfortunately it's 100% not compatible. The 90-93 has two connectors, while this one only has one. My guess is that there's another control unit somewhere on the 94-96 and this is actually just a display/switch unit - whereas the 90-93 has everything in one box. The 94 one is smaller too.
Bummer...
In any case, if anyone needs a 94 climate controller, I'd be happy to sell this one.

I'd take a spare FPCU if it's under $20. I know, I'm cheap - but I have one good spare (I think) and two blown ones that may be able to be rebuilt.
Oh, and the trim peice that surrounds the shifter and holds the p/w switches. I need one in black, but only if it has all three of the "fingers" on the front side that fit under the metal peice that holds down the ashtray bottom screws. Less than $20?

You could put me down for the third call on a set of fogs (lets say 94-96 to be sure) and I still would love to snag a single trunk mount for the cargo net -
If the front office at the yard has a list that helps you avoid crawling all over the yard - it would be great if you could post up what the yards' 12 Q inventory consists i.e.
92/body color/w-engine-trans-? ? ?/wrecked panels . . . just a general description and gross condition -
You just might be able to get yourself some parts out of this w/the yard operator as an agent if you play your cards right !

wes....just a word of advice as it might make things easier. Take your digital camera to take pics and notes just to help sort things out after you get back. I had trouble remembering which Q's had what as after looking at 5+ junked Q's they tend to all look the same when you return to get the parts off of them....have fun and good luck.
