diggin the funky box for a couple months now. great daily driver. finally starting to look towards modding. slapped some wheels on em. not quite happy, but they'll do for now.

this car is definitely not a "go" car, so will work on basic aesthetics and ice...budget permitting. so off i go!

Why does the car looks like it has 15 different shades of blue?

HDR imaging. Search wiki on that topic. It's a passing trend in popular photography. Originally a trick used by pros to compensate for less than idea lighting. Then the average joes got a hold of it and went nuts with it and gave it a bad name.

Not a fan of HDR when applied with a heavy hand. The way it should be applied is when you can't tell it's been done (like the image looks natural, not heavily processed).

DING DING! Felonious wins a prize!

I have to agree w/ felonious. like anything out there, taking anything over the top may not be the best thing. here's a more "natural" shot (it is HDR):

Again, to each his or her own. if it floats your boat, great...if not? who the f*** cares? keep the shiny side up!

17 x 7. I like 'em for now. But I really want to get some lip action going. So I may get rid of them shortly.

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean it's not a "go" car?

sorry...meant that it wasn't gonna break any quarter mile records even heavily modded. more for "show" than "go".

Popping is normally caused by the springs not being seated correctly or installed wrong. It will also happen from cutting factory springs.

Please, please do me a favor and post more pics of your cube around Seattle!!! My wife and I just drove down to SoCal and back up again for our honeymoon. Our favourite part? SEATTLE!!! We stayed at the Edgewater both going down and coming back. We're also in the market for a cube right now. A blue cube, to be exact...Sooo, um...er, yeah...more pics please!

Lookin' great man!
