Going MS3X keep or chuck NVCS?

Going MS3X keep or chuck NVCS?
Im going to control my motor with MegaSquirt 3X. It will let me control NVCS how ever I want to, but is it worth keeping? is it more worth it to get adj. cam gears?

in fact i do. anyway to pwm the solenoid to run adj amount of timing?
