the bov line goes to manifold sourcethe wastegate goes to the charge pipe along with any mbc you may havethe boost gauge goes to the intake manifold

valve cover breather no longer goes to the charge pipe(old intake pipe that NEVER SAW PRESSURE), or your new turbo will smoke

On mine I have my boost gauge and bov ran to my vacuum block. My wastegate goes to the turbo(threaded barb fitting). For the valve cover i have a small breather.

no, no I am stating that that is how they go, as of the past week I have diag'd 3 "blown turbo's" that were fine and the problem was installer error. I posted in hopes it could get a sticky, maybe renamed "fresh turbo oiling, look here or something"...

and your breather is not exactly "right" that is unmetered air

no I am not just talking out my a** a little small but you get the idea the valve cover line(on my setup) goes into the filter I need to make a hole in the pipe itself but the purpose is still served .

Im not ryin to be a smart a** just dont know i have search and search. The cgarge pipe is the pipe that comes out the turbo side correct. so what happens to that small hose that you take off of the intake side. And i got a tee in the fpr Where does that line run too. Look mechanical electrical yes but vaccuum. Please help me... Break it down

Nevermind got it figured fpr to mbc to watsgate actuator. The little hose by the throttle body goes to the intake pipe. Now i just gotta figure out where to plug the greddy blow off valve to...

before the maf.

the fpr line should only share maybe one other line. IMHO

If I were you I would run the bov/fpr off that T

then the wastegate and mbc off a charge pipe or if youre turbo has provisions the nipple on it. Be sure the mbc has no preload or you will have a nasty spike(lol I just re installed mine since the crash.., and it had a slight bit of preload, I just hit 10psi )

For the way the greddy turbo kit is. You cant run it that way because the fpr and the wastegate acts as one unit when the boost rise the vaccum tells the computer to fuel rise. Weird but tru. Um i was thinkin bout runnin the bov, and the boost controller off of the brake booster.Where is the check valve located on a s 14. Sorry bout no pics no much of a camera man i just get it done then, beer and pics... I plan on starting at 10 psi, just gotta wait on my walbro...

Now I will be the first to admit I know nothing about the greddy kit. But I dont think that is here nor there.

a wastegate never needs to see vacuum. Nor does the mbc. They both work off pressure to move a ball or diaphragm, respectively. The fpr is already hooked to a boost source(or should be) ,the intake manifold, and should rise roughly 1psi in fuel pressure per psi of manifold pressure. Unless a rrfpr.

the bov needs vac and boost to operate.

rising rate fuel pressure regulator or FMU(fuel management unit)

the bov is connect to a vac source, in its function it uses the pressure created by boost to help keep it closed, but when it vac is seen it pulls the bov open to vent the pressure build up so you dont "hurt the turbo" . But that is a controversial subject, nisssan did not use them here but they also did not run massive amounts of boost. If youre under 8psi it should not matter if you have a bov or not, should used loosely. My ssqv knock off failed and I noticed faster respool after shifts. But I could hear the flutter from the intake. So I got my hands on a greddy knock off rs I think he said. r2d2 is under my hood having a field day now.

with or without bov you are fine.

im sorry let me clarify myself do you have a pic of which hose i should tie into on the intake manifold. i have the real greddy bov and it has two vacuum ports. Im not trying to be annoying im just tryna get it right...

stupid questions are the ones not asked.lol my greddy knock off has two, and the lower is a massive boost leak so either plug it or run it off a boost pipe(it is used to make the valve open faster or more responsively as I recall.

I used the brake booster line for my bov and my boost gauge. My fpr is off the stock nipple on the manifold(I have all emission deleted) by itself, my fmu is off the wastegate/mbc line coming off the turbo housing.

I cant get my cam to come on long enough to take any

I on the other hand have patience for those who need a little more guidance. I also understand the wtf is wrong with my car/ how do I do this quickly.

thats coz YOU are the "Mad Thrasher"

theres a connection on the inner side of intake manifold right after the throttle plate..can that be used for the bov?

i got my bov fpr and boost gauge on the stock line for fpr. the wastegate and hobbs switch on the charge pipe(aka hot side). my bov is on the charge pipe before intercooler.
