some of the major things is the fuel system and exhaust manifold. if u want major power ur looking at bigger injectors and some way to manage them. the stock MAF will max out at around 350rwhp so u may need to go stand alone, hacked maf, or a JWT ecu retune for a different maf. ur looking at rebuilding the bottom end at around 300-350 rwhp depending on tuning. there are a few manifolds out there which will give u a couple options or u can make ur own. u really need to do a search to learn about the KA-T. there is an abundance of information on here

Nope - More like 240rwhp.

Mine was hitting 5.11 volts at 8psi, which is beyond maxed out (5v).

I'll add more useful info later - I'm off to watch the Gators own San Jose.

I would recomend if you are going to upgrade Fuel system (MAF, injectors) going with a standalone like Tech II or Haltech. They are MAP based so you don't need to worrie about your MAF sensor running out and these standalones can be configured to drive most types of injectors. You can pick up a used Tech II for 500-800 if you look around classified boards or ebay. Haltech EK6 cost about 1200 with harness. Well worth the money too. Or you can check out SDS.

Welcome to the world of the KA.

Depending on how far you want to take your project, performance-wise, your going to need to be rebuilding the bottom end, o-ringing the block or buying a cometic head gasket, as well as some good fuel injectors (I run 72lbers) and most definately stand alone, personally I use the LinkPlus Engine Management System, (http://www.link-electro-usa.com) to run my engine. Good luck with your project.

Rick
