Umm. Heard of something called the search button?

Seriously bro. If you didn't use it, use it now. If you did and had no results, then I suggest Google.

He's gonna need wiring harnesses and motor mounts as well. Can't just plug n play with ECUs.

Sorry about that. Thought you'd be one of those newbies who just came in looking for answers. We get so many of those in here, it's hard to tell who is smart and who's a doof trying to be fed answers. To prevent a repeat of something like this, I suggest stating in your OP that you utilized the search button, that way you don't get flamed.

For a dohc swap, you need :

EngineEcu + harnessIgnition coil and ignitor that's on the same bracketPower steering lines, pump and res

The actual rubber mounts are the same

haha well..two points..i was using it as an arrowand in math..the bigger number "eats" the smaller oneso no i had it correct in both fashions

and thanks for the help..i wonder why some site said they had to swap out the speedobut i didnt know the ignition coils were different..man thats kind of a bummer since i just bought/installed a new one in my single cam a month ago lol and since i guess the power steering lines are different or something..why is a different pump/res necessary? i heard they are just in different locations but the single one will work fine..i think i saw that on zilvia..

i did the same swap, u need DOHC upper harness, ECU, power steering lines and pump and reservoir, complete DOHC intake system including MAF, DOHC cluster, and radiator but that's optional, coil, and throttle cable. This is assuming that its a s13 DOHC, if its a s14 then u need to also swap both intake and exhaust manifolds to s13 and use a s13 distributor and alternator, ohh and u need a complete s13 A/C system if u wanna run A/C AND DON'T FORGET TO USE A FAN SHROUD!!!! and u need to re mount a few things here and there, its a fairly simple swap and shouldn't take more then a couple weekend if u have all the parts before u start, and don't forget to set the timing before u crank it over, when u have everything apart it makes things easier to get too and so u save yourself the headaches and make sure little things like that are out of the way before u put it back together

Er thats what I was forgetting, you need the dohc tach, as it has a different signal and you wont read any rpm unless you have the proper tach. Speedo is exact same signal, thats just if you prefer the read out in 10-20-30mph type or 15-25-35mph type.

The PS res is on the opposite side of the bay yes, and I didn't see any way of using the stock sohc lines. Ive heard of some people doing it but never had concrete evidence of it working. I ended up getting OEM DOHC lines for $15 at a junkyard, so no need to reinvent the wheel.

OH and if you have an extra sohc distributor, I could use one. Right now my KA is motivating my S13, and it just died on the highway. I believe its the dizzy and Im going out side to investigate now...

man so theres actually quite a bit of things to go from single to dual cam..bleh well considering i have an extra 93 s13 to get parts of-it shouldnt be too hard to swap all these extra parts in..just alot more involved than i intially thought
