Hi all,

Just got a 2008 G35 Sedan last weekend and I love, love, love it.

One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to turn off the engine without turning off accessories, i.e., radio, Bluetooth. Is there a way to do it?

In an old-fashioned car, you just twist the key from ON to ACC. But when I push the engine start button on the G35, it cycles from ON to OFF, which stops the music or drops my call.

Sure hope this is possible. Thanks for any help,

John

Just hit the on/off button without your foot on the brake.

To shut the engine off and leave the ACC on, tap the start button twice.

Thanks everyone for the fast answer. I've been enjoying this trick today.

I'm trying to read the Infiniti Owner's Manual, but it seems to have been written by a team of lawyers. So many disclaimers and warnings (wear seat belt, don't take drugs, don't lick the battery, ...) that actual useful instructions seem few and far between.

Whatever happened to just turning the key?

Now it's like putting in a cheat code for a video game...

How about the exhaust pipe? Is that allowed?
