Is there any issues with going from 18 x 7.5 inch wheels on a 2008 G35X S to 18 x 8 inch wheels from a 2012 G37X ? I have an opportunity to purchase 4 new wheels for a decent price.

I will follow stock tire size on the 18 x 8's.

Should the TPMS fit on the new rims?

Will half an inch create any problems?

Thanks

As long as the tires are the same all around you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks Biggie... I would imagine that the TPMS is pretty univeral as well and I can install the ones that are on my current wheels on the new 2012 rims. Any input on that? I would also assume that the center caps are universal and I can use the old caps on the new rims as long as the rims are OEM?

Also, i notice you are from NC. I know its a big state but do you know anything about Raleigh Wheel Repair? Supposed to be an authorized Acu-Tru shop.

I've got a slightly bent rim and looking for a solution... either buy new / refurbished or try to repair.

TPMS should swap with no problem, especially on another OEM wheel. And all OEM Infiniti wheels shouldn't have an issue with swapping the center caps either.

Never dealt with that wheel repair place.

You will need to get the new TPMS sensors registered with the new car. It does not do it automatically. Infiniti can do this for you for a fee (usually 50-bux....ugh) or there is a hack you can do with a wire under the dash: reset-tpms-interface-plug-t563648.html
