My crew is looking into turbocharging or supercharging one of our members 2003 I35 Base. Minimal poking around on the internet revealed the absence of a pre made kit for the I35. However, the I35 shares the same VQ35DE powerplant as the G35. Has anyone gone FI with one of these cars yet? If so, how much fabrication would you guess is required to go FI on one of these cars? I am debating getting a premade kit for a VQ35DE engine and modifying it to fit/work with teh I35 or building a kit from scratch and fabbing everything. Any input? Comments? Any help would be appreciated!

there's a company that made a full kit for the 5th gen maximas but i can't remember the name. it's expensive but it'll be a bolt on to your engine.look through the older threads, i think it was called "finally a turbo kit for the 5th gen" or something.

Space limitations with the FWD setup means you can't use the Z/G TT nor SC systems on the Maxima.

It's about time. Of course a lot of us who may have wanted one before have moved on to other cars. Their vid makes it look pretty harsh on the motor mounts tho....

that's because those rookies haven't thought about...hockey puck motor mounts i personally wouldn't spend that much money on a basic kit but then again if i can i like to diy (dim i guess) - some people choose the easy way and then when it comes to bragging they don't know what they have.
