Thanks, Problem is, I can get a test pipe with and without the o2 bung formy aplication, that's why I am asking hereblacksrjdm wrote:No, there wont be a code or any problems. Unless you consider better throttle response to be a problem. If you need a test pipe for it, then buy a test pipe for your application and it will have the O2 bung if you need it and if you dont need it then it wont have one.
I already did that, that's why I am asking what to do with it, not if I have or don't have one...blacksrjdm wrote:Well, then find out if you have an O2 sensor in the cat. Lay underneath that thing and find out. Very very very very very very very easy to figure out. Then buy the proper test pipe.
Another well made point, also should be obvious when after recieving said item.Didderson wrote:when you buy one w/ a bung for the O2 they usually come w/ a bolt that you can seal the hole with if you don't have an o2. if you buy one w/ a bolt to seal that hole then you have the availability of using an o2 later,
You just need to put "Dont, however, get rid of the O2 sensor if it has one," lol... you know the second o2 sensor (after cat) reads leaner than the 1st sensor, and that's how the ecu know it is working correcty? That's why I asked if the ecu would make any changes if I put a test pipe, because both sensor would read almost the same afr, or if I needed a 02 simulator, or spacer, now I know i can put the test pipe, the o2 sensor and live with it, and it won;t affect performance, Thanks for your anwersblacksrjdm wrote:Asking what here??????
Dude, just what are you asking????????????
If you have an O2 sensor in the cat, then get the test pipe with the O2 bung in it. If you dont have an O2 sensor in the cat, then get the test pipe without the O2 bung. Whats so hard about that????? Dont, however, get rid of the O2 sensor if it has one, being that the ecu will throw a code if it isnt plugged in and metering the exhaust air.
If you have already seen that you do or do not have an O2 sensor in the cat, what is the problem????? Seems pretty self explanatory if it has an O2 or not get the test pipe to fit your application with or without the bung. There is nothing at all difficult about that.
lol... I put "what can I do with the rear o2 sensor?" not "how do i know if I have a rear o2 sensor"Didderson wrote:when you buy one w/ a bung for the O2 they usually come w/ a bolt that you can seal the hole with if you don't have an o2. if you buy one w/ a bolt to seal that hole then you have the availability of using an o2 later, or plugging in your existing one that you cannot seem to grasp how to figure out if it exists or not lol..
