Trying to get 300whp daily driver. I have the bolt ons with a z32 mafs, and fp big28.What injectors should i go? 550 or 555? what brand is the best for the buckwhats low impedence and high impedence and which one do i want?alright what do i want to tune this thing with? safc2 i know is the cheapest would i want the black or blue on?any other suggestions on tuning this thing?

do you know how to tune?

or, conversely, do you have a local dyno that knows how to tune?

if so, something programmable like power fc would be good to get.

either way, an s-afc piggybacking a stock ecu isn't the best tuning method. you have no control over timing, etc., etc. the easiest way (i would think) is to get a rom tune by enthalpy, technosquare, jwt, etc., and taking the car to the dyno and fine-tuning using s-afc.

for injectors, you can use fc or fd injectors; fd primaries are 550cc and fd secondaries are 850cc, iirc, and i think they do drop into the stock fuel rail with the use of sard collars. please do a search.

anyway, good luck with your search!

you'll want to make sure you have an upgraded fuel pump too and a fuel pressure regulator might be nice as well. For 300whp, 550's should put you right there. The injectors you want are side feed. good brands to look at are Nismo, SARD, Blitz, Power Enterprise, MSD or RC. The power fc is a great system but will burn a hole in your wallet real fast. You can try the Greddy E-manage with a lap top and supprot software for a cheaper alternative and it gives you quite a bit of control over your fuel system.

for 300whp you dont need a whole lot.550cc side feed high impedance injectors will fit right in(mostly)of course you have to make sure they fit. some are the wrong size(like z32 injectors can be depending on year).nismo adjustable fpr-easy bolt-on, some tunabilityjwt rom tune for your injectors and maf

boom, you have safe, reliable, tunable(slightly) 300whp

you will need supporting stuff like big intercooler(big28 is NOT very efficient), fuel pump, etc.

so even getting the tuned ecu by jwt for injectors and maf, I would still need the safc to tune it out?

if you get the jwt tuned for your injectors and maf you dont NEED the safc or the adjustable regulator. i like to have a little tuning room to make changes on the dyno. thats why i have an adjustable fpr(nismo) and an hks safr. i have not put it all together yet but i expect to have it all just right with that setup. of course with the regulator and fuel computer(safr, safcII, emanage, etc.) you dont NEED a rom tune. the problem is that the fuel computer should only be used for small adjustments. they work by modifying mass air flow voltage. that indirectly controls fuel. it also indirectly controls igntion. you dont really want the ecm to think you are at low load when you are really at higher than stock boost. that gives you too much timing.

gross oversimplification but you get the idea.
