OK so I have decided that I am buying a turbo upgrade for my 240. I know the SR20 can handle around 300 RWHP safely, but is there anything that I should know about, and do before so I can assure myself that it will be safe?

What do you expect the hp increase to be at the flywheel? You may want a better gripping clutch.

From everythings ive seen, and read you would probably want to put t better headgasket in, and ras atleast. Other then that, make sure its tuned good, and get bigger injectors. Im sure you already planned on all that stuff though. If i were you, id look into the enjuku racing ecu upgrade. Ive been talking to them latley and it sounds really nice. Its 400 dollars so cheaper then jwt, and they also do 100 upgrades. Good luck. My sr is at about 14 psi on high boost, and its pretty crazy, compared to what the ka was. I cant even imagine what 400 hp would feel like in that car.

Ps, id also look into a good lsd if your gonna be making that much power if you dont have one.

did you read my writeup on HP w/ SR20det? You don't need a headgasket till over 400rwhp, RAS is allmost a must though, so is more fuel. I've seen stock bottom end SR's making 500RWHP so 300 would be uber safe. Do some research on google and see who's running a settup like you want, see what their luck was and get back with us. That's the best advise I can give you.
