got the fuel rail back on, just tightened down evenly

the spacers between the securing tabs seem to make it obvious when they are tight.

However -

the injector connectors (on harness) are green with corrosion

what should I do about this?

Yes clean them and use di-electric grease when finish cleaning and dry.

I've got some dielectric grease,

whats the best way to clean the connectors,

they're small and not much room to work in there

small piece of emory cloth, scrape clean with a single edge blade?

what works the best?

I use electric parts cleaner in a spray can, scrubbing the pins with a toothbrush and cotton swabs, and finish it off with a coating of dielectric grease. I would avoid sandpaper as it would take off any anodized coating on the pins and possibly promote more corrosion if things dried out.
