???? Anyone else have this happen? I dont know if its some weird JDM thing but even if Im just cruising on the highway at 100km/hr I can hear the chime start going off. Its exactly the same chime as if you leave the headlights on and open a door. Its connected to that chime. What gives? It drives me nuts on a long drive.

I figured it was some dumb warning system that Japan has to "stop" you from speeding, I need to yank this thing out!

Mine does it to, in Japan their speed limits are like ours 100km on the highways, it's a warning chime to let you know that you are going 10km over the speed limit, if you notice it starts at 110km/h. Anyone know how to yank it out, it annoys me all the time?!?!

Canadian300zx is right. All Jdm models have it. To get rid of it simply involves removing the Instrument panel cluster and snipping one wire. Cant remember exactly which one as it's been a while since I had to do it. Im sure theres some tech page just involves searching. It also had instructions on raising the Jdm cruise control max speed from 110k to 180 but it was alot more technical.

edit: aus300zx.com has a tech page that covers it
