What are you gonna do there for 2 years? I was thinking about trying to go there as some foreign exchange progam or something when I get in college. I was thinking of importing a R32 if I ever had the chance of going.

5 hours from tokyo on a bullet train? that covers almost all of honshu. it took 6 hours by the express train to get to tokyo from osaka.

if i don't have a new set of S13 K's emblems by then, do you think you could pick me up a pair? :)

I may. I want to for a school thing. But right now its only an idea. Part of the reason I want to go there is to learn the language too. I know little to nothing right now.

you'd be surprised :) most of the japanese car talk is lifted from phonetic translations. so most of the words are the same, but they use bonnet instead of hood, and boot instead of trunk (i think on that last one). and then some things get a complete translation into japanese instead of them trying to pronounce the english version. Isn't translating fun?!

bunta, if you go for school, you'll learn a lot. especially if you live with a host family.

I spent two years in Tokyo on Yokata AFB. Which base will you be at. BTW bullit trains are very expensive, but so is everything else over there. $20 for a medium Pizza Hut pizza.

Hmm...interesting. I might have to go active just so I can go to japan. LOL. Maybe after I get my commission though, cause I hate being an enlisted soldier. I hope you learn the language soon cause not a lot of people speaks english over there, they are tradition and likes to keep their style if you know what i mean.
