The car is an automatic 1994 sentra with 148k on it asking $298.00 at a used car lot. What should I look out for? you think this car will get 30+ mpg on highway? Will it be reliable to travel 600 miles a week?

If it's been kept up, then all of the above are pretty likely. I assume it's a GA16, which is quite a good little economy motor for your purposes.
