I was wondering if anyone has used or knows any info/ reviews on godspeed coilovers. I'm on a serious budget so just trying to do some research. Any info would be great. Thanks.

A guy on here tried them out. My respect goes out to him, but they don't go that low (if that's what you're looking for), the ride quality was sub par, and they blew out with in the year. You tell me how good they are.

No offense but... search noob. Just type 'Godspeed Coilover Review' in google. Lots of hits come back.

They don't go very low so don't expect to slam. You'll still have wheel gap with these. the guy in this review obviously doesn't know what 'low' means...

Wow. So I am guessing all the people who bad mouth these coils don't own a set???
You just have to get the good set that's all. I have Hyper rs godspeed coils and I love them.
Yes they do go low. You see how low my car is and I have plenty more to go.
You can't listen to what "google" has to say about it, or people that don't own them.

I didn't listen to google... I listened to the NICO testimonials of ppl who have them. Thanks for clarifying that the Hyper RS are significantly different from the base models, but can you post pics here? Alot of ppl don't use Facebook.

Try hosting your pics somewhere like Photobucket or Cardomain. Then use the IMG button to post the link to the picture in the thread...

i have a set and they suck for everything other than lowering your car and stiffening up your suspension. I got em used off of a guy on here and i got em for cheap, i think they were already blown tho. They are really stiff but I believe the spring rates are 12K and 10K (front and rear) which is pretty damn stiff...coupled with blown struts, well the ride isn't stable over bumps.

as far as lowering the car the fronts can go really low(probably another inch at least before hitting the collars but the rears don't wanna go that low. I lowered my spring perch quite a bit just to get it this low in the rear which is about as low as i wanna go anyway but for some reason the rear coils have a longer shock body or something. I know a few people with the newer models(red ones w/ dual ride height adjustability) and they go really low without having to drop the spring perch, my buddy was tucking SE wheels on his s14 and draggin frame rails lol

crappy pic but you get the idea

**i paid 200 for these and they do what i want for now, will I pay the 5-600 bucks for them off ebay? NO, I'd rather save up another 2-4 weeks and go with Powered by MAX, DMAX, or Fortune Auto which are proven coilovers. Sure they are double the price but they will probably last you more than twice as long, just my .02
