I came across this manifold and wondered if it was comparable to the Greddy manifold.

I asked a Strychnyne about Godspeed in regards to quality, and he told me they make decent suspension parts, but didn't know about the intake manifold...

Anyone have any experience/input/feedback on this product?

I have the same manifold. I had to clean up the ports a little bit with a dremel tool to match the head. I like it. I think they look better than the greddy but the chrome job it poor in some areas , mostle under the fuel injector where you cant see it. So the best quote comes in play here "you get what you pay for" .

so does anyone know of a good quality aftermarket intake mani other than the Greddy one? preferably one that doesn't cost a small fortune...

Or is it that its inevitable that everything RB related is just uber expensive?

Of course- I understand the old adage. The thing I wonder is why aftermarket parts for other engines are simply cheaper- even if they are of high quality.

There not really. Quality intake manifold for an LS1 v8 costs $800+, A real JUN intake mani for the SR costs like $1000, Sheet Metal Intake for 2jz is like $1000, Greddy costs $700+ now for SR or RB. You pay to play with whatever engine you have. The only manifolds that are cheap anymore are a Carb Manifold for a SBC. lol. And even then you got a $500 plus Carb sitting on top of that.

haven't had problems with our ISIS manifolds in regard to an alternative to the Greddy... http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/p...d=256

I'll be posting up a mainfold in the forsale section later this week that might interest you.

Its made by CPC (custom plenum creations) in the AU. Very nice hand made tig welded manifold. It as velocity stacks on the inside of it, and comes with the Q45 TB. The manifold is polished. Looking to get $650 + shipping for it. It is a very nice peice.

cool, Yeah I was looking at the Isis manifold- Though in all honesty it looks the same as the godspeed manifold- I read a writeup of someone using a godspeed piece and it concerned me that it had to be worked a bit for proper fitment...
