They are pretty cheap...Under $400 for the whole kit has anyone ever used one for the ca18det or is currently using one?

If so how are they?

Rocking SSAC kit (pretty much the same thing as godspeed) for over 2 years, no problems, and many around here use similar setups with good results.

I'd recommend you get the S14 SR20DET kit if you can. Best fit mainly due to cold pipe shape.

Got mine for $250+sh back then, dunno whats the best deal right now tho.

Oh, and use the search, there is a pretty detailed thread with good info on most ebay items.

Had a shop install one (against my wishes, actually) and it seems "o.k".

I put o.k. in douchey internet quotes because while it seems to be a fairly stout piece (I stood on it to check mounting, and it didnt budge), the fins are spaced fairly far apart, and the bars seem a bit large. Once the car is back to running status, I am going to be installing temp probes to do some testing to find out how well it cools compared to some various other units.

Jei doesnt have any more ca swaps and wont be getting any for a while I jus talked to them yesterday I would go to jhot if I was you because they sell everything you need I believe that they also have the butterfly valve setup too so you would have something that me and ron are missing plus they are not that expensive.

Hate to interrupt, is Jhot the place to go for motors these days? I need a company to find me a rather rare jdm engine for an old truck I have. Anyways, they can be found by googling "Jhot" and they will be first or second.
