just got my set of godspeed coilovers. i know many people say they suck they will blow like godspeed so on and so fourth. i installed them and after pulling the three blown shocks out i figured it couldnt only be an upgrade. the buiold quiality looked good for the price (620.00 shipped) they are damper adjustable. my first driving impression was they are stiff 9kg front and 7kg in the back. they feel much smoother than what i pulled out. only time will tell if they last they have a one year warranty as many know and there is a difference betweens full up and slammed down. all in all they are perfect for what i will use them for mainly daily driving and occasional auto x hopefully. here are some pics im posting this mainly as a reference for any one interested in these NOT FOR A FLAME FEST! ENJOY!

and one of my two wifeys!

More shots of before and after! If it's your daily a year should definitely be enough for any problems to occur. Good luck!

it looks basically the same i had a 2 inch drop before and i kept it close to that. ill snap some shots of it when i drop the front a lil and raise the back to give it a good stance. and the car in the background is a 1972 satellite with a 440 magnum my first toy

ive had them for a year now, mine were $400 shipped brand new. They feel fine ive put like 15k miles on them with no problems and ive been drifting on them for months now with no real issues. I think the main problem with these is that they are hit or miss, either u get a good set or u don't.

hahahahahahahhahahaah well if they blow like most say good thing they have a warranty thats the only reason i went with em. i just cant justify buying 900- 1200 dollar coils when i bought my car for 1100. its not goin to double the value? so why? i doubt ill notice a difference between god speed and say stance except the 1000 horsepower i get from using a name brand......

Okay.

I'm just sick of people giving "coilover reviews" when they've never driven on different coilovers and say the coilover they bought are "the best coilovers ever." Not saying you have said that because you've been mature about this thread, which is good.

In the words of the great Eric Castro: "It's like losing your virginity to a dirty fat chick. Yeah, it's going to seem great because it was your first time but there's so many hot chicks out there."

I see a lot of people bash on these and a lot of people complain that they blew on them in a couple of months. I'm going to get a set of the RS' for my S14 b/c I have a hookup and I pretty much need to upgrade as my OEM's are completely shot to the point where I have some hellacious bump steer, and honestly for the price of a set of AGX's and lowering spring I can get a set of adjustable coils and since I'm broke it's a great selling point. Maybe the reason everyone reports back that they blow in a couple of months is because they have them turned up to max dampening and slammed to the ground. I'm just going to do a little bit of a drop and probably not even really touch the dampening setting since the roads here in Philly are horrid.

i completely agree and i love that quote about the fat chicks!!!hahahaha i figured i had to start somewhere and learn so id rather learn how to adjust setup and work with coilovers in general before i go and buy a good set if i buy a good set and mess em up. its like tryin to bang the hot chick and you dont know where the hole is....lol
