Just curious if any fellow gamers have played this title? I just picked up my copy today and cannot wait to get home to experience this........if it is anything like the previous Godfather I shall be in for a treat of nothing short of awsome. I would love to hear thoughts with your experience.

Saw the commercial 100s of times on the SouthPark website...Looks good.

Maybe an Official JD Review?

I was able to play this baby last night and this morning as well........not surprised part 2 plays alot like part 1 which isn't bad at all. You play as a mobster known as Dominique which they tell in the story was a part of the first......I never heard of him but it works for me for the simple fact you can't know EVERYTHING so this only expands the story IMO.

Controls have not changed at all but they have added extra options to your arsenal at your ready. You now have a "crew" you build from the ground up with your soldiers having special attributes in the likes of enforcer, arsonist, lock picker, medic, engineer, you have the ability to add extra perks to them as you progress through the game paying with your monies.

You can rank up your troops as you gain more power. Very much like the first you start to take over turf which has illegal rackets, storm the fronts to eliminate agression and extort, toture owners to take it over. If you have a piece of turf that is under attack which has bodyguards you put in place at a specific location of your choice, you also have the option to send one of your personal henchman to go help with the attack.

Long story short........Godfather II plays alot like the first but just has a different time, different locations, extra perks to expand the experience. But if your looking for a multiplayer fix......won't find it here because they do have a online gaming network with the likes of Team death match, and 3 others but forgot because I don't care for this segment because it sucks bawls.

So if you like the first Godfather this will be enjoyable to you, if you haven't played the series...give it a shot you might like it. Almost forgot, this game has trophies!!

So I am going to take back what I said the first time in regards to the multiplayer being pretty weaksauce......multiplayer ain't bad at all. After beating the game and having a better feel for the game I decided to give it another shot since I only tried one game which was pretty short to begin with.

So you have 4 modes, Teamdeath match, safecraker= HQ for ya'll in the COD know, Demolitions= Sabotage, and one more I can't remember. With only 5 maps, it makes it somewhat limited.......DLC will fix this. I had to get used to the 3rd person view which takes practice getting used to from FPS. I must say I have fun with this game online..........not as intense as cod, let me explain, I am not saying the cod titles are inferior to this game at all but with it being sooooo intense, and competitive it makes for anger to come out.

I just have fun with GFII online.......less stressful. Give this title a shot for a nice change for multiplayer
