The 8th of November. I'm 23. God! Death is knocking on my door!At least my gray hair went away (I had it when I was 19).

I mean, what do you celebrate at 23? 21 was well... 21. 22 was the year after 21. 23 is crap! Its a slow and painful march to 30! I feel like the odometer on my Q, waiting to tick over to 200k.

Parents are gone, so I'll invite some people over and hang out, but not for long -- I have a tremendous amount of studying to do for some exams on Tuesday.

After I send everyone home, it'll be me, a few tall mugs of Guinness, and my books. And to be honest, thats what I enjoy doing most with my time -- wait did I just say that? I did! I really am getting old. If I was 19 I'd be out drunk 5 nights leading up to and 5 nights after my birthday.

I'm going to start shopping for caskets and nursing homes.

If you're really getting old, go round up some Aviators, you deserve 'em for making it this long .

F-off I turned 24 2 months ago and have been trying to cope with it, you think 23 is hard try 24 lol. I suggest 4 40's of malt liquor to cheer you up, and if your like me you body has aged enough and your liver and you have such a horrible relationship that you'll wake up about a day later still feeling like you've been both raped and shot, make sure to check that you haven't been and then continue getting older only looking forward to easy women fast cars and death. No honestly have you noticed you get horrid hangovers more than you used to? Anyway happy birthday and remember there is nothing a blonde chick and enough alcohol cannot take care of

I sincerely hope you are joking. If you are whining about being 23 then you are going to have a miserable, short, unhealthy life, and you'll deserve it. My grandparents are 78. Until last year, my grandfather was just as active and capable as I am. My grandmother is still incredibly healthy. I would not be surprised if they live to be over 100.

You have a LONG way to go before you have any right to whine about being old. In fact, no one has any right to complain about age, unless they are an ignorant fool who learns nothing from their time and experiences. Every year is another year of wisdom attained. And another year of good times and memories. The only thing wrong with growing old is that there will inevitably be a limit to the number of our years, so we can only enjoy it for a short time.

I'm certain there's a law out there somewhere that makes it a felony to bltch about your age if you're still living with your parents. Aspire to not still be there when you're 30.

After 4 years on my own, I must say that ditching my fiance and coming home is the best and most financially beneficial decision I ever made.

Happy Birthday Jesda! Thanks for your previous help, advice ect. for my newly acquired 1996 Q45.

You and Wes have a really cool site (Q45.org) that led me to the NICO site. Without you I would have found this site and learned so much about my car.

If you feel old at 23, you have alot of good years ahead of you. I'm 47 and will be 48 next month. You guys make me feel really old.

Be damn glad you didn't make the mistake of getting married to soon to a woman you found out you didn't like. Nicely Done! That could have cost you for many years to come.

Happy Birthday- You have a lot of good years left.

I just turned 23 in October, it's teh scariness. Go buy a couple of cases of ensure shakes, you'll need the extra calcium and fiber at your age.
