God damn Hit and Run Drivers

Come out of the grocery store and see that my rear driver side turn signal was cracked with pieces of it on the ground. On closer inspection, there was a big dent in the area. It was raining, so the idiot driver probably couldn't see very well as he/she was backing out. All I remember is that I parked next to some old red car. Really nothing I could do and the grocery store doesn't have cameras in the parking lot. I should have started to parking FAR away a long time ago...

You know I worked in a grocery store for 6 years almost always parked my car in the lot. Never got any damage other than a few door dings and shopping cart bumps. This is what I get for moving down to Los Angeles.

The one interesting about the damage is that before it happened, I already had a dent that was about the size of my open hand in that same spot that had been there for years. It seems the driver backed into that same dent. The only difference now is that dent is alot wider and my signal light is cracked. I'm still pretty pissed because the dent is alot more noticeable now.

Yeah that sucks. I just roll them dice every time I park somewhere public. I usually try to position my truck next to a fellow Nissan owner, such as a Z or G35, but its no indication that I won't get bumped into.

Yeah, I carry a bat in my car, that way if the paint matches the vehicle I'm next to, I become a happy camper in about 5 seconds.

I also park very far from everyone.

You know I used to live in a nice neighborhood next to a busy street. Before you would pass by my place, you would be coming down hill so people are usually coming in at high speed and try to make the signal.

One day this guy runs a red light and rams into another car. The guy immediately maneuvers his car around and drives off. Within minutes tons of cops and detectives show up. What they find on the ground is the guys license plate, which popped off from the crash

So sorry to hear about your parking lot damage. 99% of all the damage to my vehicles has been attributed to parking lots. The only great thing to happen recently is the main grocery store by my house has just renovated their parking lot and made the parking spots so wide that you could park 2 hummers side-by-sied and open the doors and they still wouldn't hit. That has helped big time except for the idiots who park on the line
