ok, well i have a hesitation problem in my black top as i have said before..im going to take out the stock side mount intercooler and blow off valve next week to see if its a boost leak....If that does not work then im going to be a little agravated

What is strange about his whole problem was the fact i was having this same problem with the ka before i wapped it out for the sr...Is there anything that related to the both of them to be having the same issue? maybe some type of fuse that blew that would cause this issue?

I cant think of anything beyond the wires that the two motors shared.....can you guys think of anything?

Things I have replaced so far:

1) spark plugs- they are 7's---maybe too cold?--but the hesitation was going on well before i switched to the colder spark plugs...2) fuel filter3) fuel pump5) intake6) headers7) 3in turbo back exaust8) koyo radiator

I know some of this stuff has nothing to do with the hesitation problem, but i figgured the more info i gave you, the more you can probably help me.

Headers?

Sounds like to me you either have a boost leak or a bad MAF. Could also be the TPS being off.

same problem eh?

maf or boost problem would be the first guess, you might also have a bend or a cut off in your fuel line? Its really wierd but they are just steel and then rubber lines, prone to getting damaged.

I say that just because if its a problem thats been carried over from motor to motor...really wierd though. Charcoal Canister would do this either correct? Even if he pinched off the end of the vapor line?

funky man =\

I'd definitely try that, and check your voltages on your MAF. Make sure its grounded properly too!

If its not that, I might say its a fuel problem. Possibly either wiring or the actual fuel lines (maybe even tank vacuum, but i've never heard of that before =O)

Have you checked the timing? I had the same issues and Timing was the culprit.
