Because the old injectors are high impedence the new ones are low impedence.

The old injectors require alot more power to operate correctly, and have the resistor basically built into them.

Stop modding your car if you have no clue what you are doing. I hate seeing people cry when they get in over their head because they want the ego boost, and you my friend....are in over your head. If a PROFESSIONAL tells you something and you do the exact opposite one of 2 things is going on. You are retarded or just plain stupid.

Hold on buddy, did you read my last post.

They told me that the car wouldn't run on the stock injectors with the resistor pack hooked up.

All i was saying is that it does run. The only reason i have the stock **** hooked up is because the ecu they sent me is blown.

As for your coment that i am in over my head, you have no grounds for such a coment.

I have a degree in Engine technology among other stuff and work in engineering in one of the worlds largest engine manufacturers.

Get your facts strait before you talk ****!

[QUOTE=240+civic=pimp]All right here is the deal, i got the car running using the stock ecu and injectors. I still have the resistor pack hooked up.Cannonball-r told me that it shouldn't run with the resistor pack on but i couldn't figure out why.[QUOTE]

You must be telling a story somewhere as this statement doesnt come from someone with the training you describe.

Good job editing your last post to cover your ***!

I got my fact straight...

Maybe your stock injectors arent so stock...maybe they also are low impedence injectors???

Among other stuff? How many degrees do you have? Among other things.

I didnt edit my post i dont even know how to.

As for the injectors they are high impediance they have an ohm reading of around 2-3 ohms. So infact as you said before they dont have a resistor inside the injector.

The high impediance injectors have 13 ohms of resistance."You must be telling a story somewhere as this statement doesnt come from someone with the training you describe."

Why not. I could figure out why they eoulnt run with the resistor pack. It still gives voltage and amps to they injector it should fire.

The problem would be the injector driver in the ecu. A low impediance driver would be damaged if you were not using the resistors couse it is not made for the current.

As for degrees i have 3 years in buisness( almost a bachlors) and ascosiates in engine technology

As you can see i never learned to spell thoughout any of it.

Degrees aren't more than peices of paper telling an employer or a business that you went to school. Its like engineers, they don't know their a$$ from their head. Its amazing it takes an "Engineer" to design some of junk i've seen. My little brother could have designed better things.

Example: My next door neighbor has his MASTERS in Automotive Engineering. His choice of vocabulary will blow your mind. We have 2 mailboxes side by side. He wanted to put his box up. Instead of having to seperate post, my dad tells him lets do a 2x4 straight up and have one going across and lay the boxes on top. His WIFE comes over the next day telling my dad "Al can't figure how to put the box on can you do it for him?" My dad goes out their with 3 drywall screws and zips the box in in 30 seconds. This is a Engineer with a MASTERS degree and he can't figure out how to put a stupid mailbox on. I'll tell you one thing, engineers are smart I'll give you that, but take them out of their related field and they are dumber than a box of rocks. A degree isn't anything if you don't have the experience. I show up ASE certified mechanics and engineers all the time. Not saying a degree isn't jack, I understand its a garantee to an employer that you know your stuff, but half the people with degrees have no common sense whatsoever.

You are entitled to your own opinion, what i cant understand is dude over here telling me i don't know **** when all i was making was a statement.
