Degrees aren't more than peices of paper telling an employer or a business that you went to school. Its like engineers, they don't know their a$$ from their head. Its amazing it takes an "Engineer" to design some of junk i've seen. My little brother could have designed better things.
Example: My next door neighbor has his MASTERS in Automotive Engineering. His choice of vocabulary will blow your mind. We have 2 mailboxes side by side. He wanted to put his box up. Instead of having to seperate post, my dad tells him lets do a 2x4 straight up and have one going across and lay the boxes on top. His WIFE comes over the next day telling my dad "Al can't figure how to put the box on can you do it for him?" My dad goes out their with 3 drywall screws and zips the box in in 30 seconds. This is a Engineer with a MASTERS degree and he can't figure out how to put a stupid mailbox on. I'll tell you one thing, engineers are smart I'll give you that, but take them out of their related field and they are dumber than a box of rocks. A degree isn't anything if you don't have the experience. I show up ASE certified mechanics and engineers all the time. Not saying a degree isn't jack, I understand its a garantee to an employer that you know your stuff, but half the people with degrees have no common sense whatsoever.
