lots (maybe most) mods aren't street legal. they're marked "off road use only" in order to save their butts from liability issues, but we all install them anyways

chances are you'll love th sound so much that you'll end up accelerating more often and burning more fuel. theoretically it should offer less restricted movement of exhaust and it should increase slightly. It all depends on your driving habits.

now i jus found that there was the precat problem in 05 atilmas do ours have the same issue? and would it sound good with the stock exhaust?

It would sound raspy, choppy with stock exhaust, it would sound better, cleaner with a cat back something more high flow.
