gm performance pan on ls swaps

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

been looking at viable options to put in my s13 been going threw kas left and right had a buddy make me a good deal on a 5.3 and was doing some resurch and was wondering if any one has thought of using the gm performance rear sump oil pan. its ment for putting ls in older gm chassis. was curious if anyone has tried to use that on one of our swaps.

Are you planning on cutting and welding it back to a front sump?

This pan has the same problem as most SBC pans in the 240sx swap application. You need to trim it back about 2" to get full clearance which also means modifying the oil pickup. You're better off using a modified GTO pan, or calling Sikky for one of their custom sheet metal pans.
