glue down a vent lead to losing defrost.

Hey, in advance I'd like to say thanks for read and for any and all help I can get!

So I had a tube of glue leak on my dash in the sun... it trickled down my drivers side defrost vent and i believe it glued the door. I can no longer turn my vents to defrost. I can control the Air Temp, speed, just cannot use defrost or turn the air flow off completely.

Any Advice on where to start?
