So i tried to change my glovebox light today, i got the stock bulb out, but the new led bulb was too long to fit in, so i ended up having to take out the entire glove compartment. I got that out and changed to the led, but it wont turn on. ive tried turning the bulb around but it still wont work. I dont know if i accidentally disconnected something or not, or i blew a fuse, but now my stock bulb wont work either. Has anyone run into this problem? any help would be appreciated.

Probably disconnected something, I dont think the LED would blow a fuse. Id check the wiring behind the light assembly and also there should be a switch somewhere that the actual glovebox door should contact when closing to shut the light off, check that out too.

also remember that the headlights (or maybe just the parking lights — don't remember off the top of my head) have to be on for the glove box light to come on.

So i tired again today as it was getting dark. It still didnt work and by that time it was pressty dark out. Then i realized that none of my other lights worked either on the center console buttons and steering wheel controls. So i guess i did blow a fuse. Anyone have any idea which one is the fuse for these lights?

Thanks insaneturbo, you just saved me a trip to the dealer. I would have never thought to check that fuse. Problem fixed.
