I have an S 360. This model doesn't come with the glove box partition although the glove box already has the groove for it. I assume the SL model comes with it?

I think it would be useful to have. Does anyone have any comments about how good it is or know how much this would cost to buy? I have emailed the parts department of my dealer but they haven't gotten back to me.

That's interesting. Our 08 SL AWD has the partition.

Not sure which partition you are referring to.. can you identify it in these pictures?

If you look at the bottom of the glove box, there is a slot that runs front to back about 4 inches from the left side. I believe a plastic partition should fit in there to separate the glove box into two sections.

That is correct you can kind of see this in the picture almost in the middle of the map.

Thats what I am looking for. I figured the partition would run the length of the glove box though.

I think egale is saying there is nothing there at all.

Yeah, my 08 SL AWD has it too.

OP, you could always just have a piece of lexan cut to slide in there or some sort of other plastic material available at Home Depot. Won't be as pretty, but it'll work..

I would proably try to make a cardboard template first. Then transfer the design to something more solid.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just picked up a 2012 Sv FWD w Premium Pkg (Canada) and mine doesn't have the partition either... Should the dealer have these available and which trim levels are "supposed" to come with the partition?

The partition (along with the dual level glove box/tray) was deleted from ALL models starting in 2010.

You can purchase a new partition (from the '08-'09 model)from the dealer:

# 68580-JM00A - TRAY-INSTRUMENT GREY
# 68580-JM00B - TRAY-INSTRUMENT BLACK

Cost is about $32 (US).

I have a 2010 Rogue and decided the partition was too expensive and useless.
The option I chose was to put a non-slip liner in the bottom of the box.
I used a product called Grip Liner by Con-Tact that I got at Ace Hardware.
There are tool box liners that probably work as well or better available on-line.
Works like a charm. Nothing slides around even when doing a bat-turn. ;-)
