glove box panel/gauge holder

does anyone know how to make a custom glove box panel to hold gauges or a/f controllers. i have seen them in various cars but im not sure how to make the panel?

ive never done it, but i know it cant be hard. basically make the mounting surface and then drill the approproate sized holes. if you are wondering how to get the panel to stay, just cut small strips and make a backing surface to attach it to.

I would recomend ABS plastic BTW

yea, im not really sure how to get the panel to stay in the glove box. if anyone has any pictures or tips from their own attempts at this project would be very helpful.

ok basically you need to create a perimeter for the panel to rest against.

cruddy example, but think about a mcdonalds cup... without that lip the top wouldnt stay in place... you need that lip

yea that makes sense. i wish i had some examples to go by. i couldnt find any "how to" sites on google for making glove box panels.
