Glove Box light on 2006 M35

So I finally did the DVD Hack and Success!!

I think anyway. I'm not sure if the glove box light was working before or not but it doesnt appear to turn on anymore.

Does anyone know how it functions? How is the the glove box light triggered on?

I double checked and did remember to plug the connector back in (long brown one).

If its just a bulb replacement, do you know if the factory warranty covers it or is it something I'm better off replacing?
