glove box door removal

did the search, read the article, looked at the accompaning pics. does not seem to apply to my 1996Qt. would like to clean that a/c part behind the g box before s. fl. summer arrives. how do i get that door and box outta there?

Remove the lower plastic thing below the glove box.. Once you remove that, there are 4 screws (2 on each side) that you remove, plus the 2 up top. Use a 10mm wrench...... After that, take out the darlington resistor and then clean away!

How does the "lower plastic thing" below the glove box come off? Is it all clips? Can't seem to find and fasteners. Thanks.KG

On the 94-96 it's all clips. Pull down from the front. On the 90-93 there's a few screws along the leading edge that have to be removed first.

I got it removed and took pictures to update this thread for the '94-96 Q's. I'll post a write-up this weekend for all.
