I have a friend who's Jetta GLI died on him and hes looking to get rid of it. I told him i'll take the seats, Recaros, but i dont know if they will fit. Would i just need some new brackets for them, or something else. thanks

volkswagon seat rails magically bolt right in to a 240sx.

consider yourself very lucky if it works.

Kid huh? well, if i could send you a photo of me giving you the finger i would. I was just wondering how well the VW brackets would fit. and not only am i not a kid, but i have also been here longer and have out-posted you by almost 100 posts. keep your opinions to yourself. when you assume, you make an a$$ out of U and Me.

the jetta brackets wil not fit because of the rise in the floor dirrectly beneath the seat. Also, they would need to have new bolt holes drilled and threaded for them as they are about 1 inch offset in bolt placement.

yes, kid.

you have more posts than me because i spend my time working on cars, not thinking and theorizing about working on cars.

think about what you're typing before you post it.

So i shouldnt waste my time becoming an automotive engineer.... because thats all they do, think and theorize. oh well, i guess i'll just drop out and become a mechanic. thanks for the advice.

i'm sayihng think before you post something.

obviously the seats aren't going to fit. you have alot of studying to do, maybe you should take some debate classes as well!

this bullsh!t is getting very old.people with no reason to post other than being d!cks to others should just shut their mouths and not post at all.

Try helping people Matt. Being a d*** to someone makes you look stupid and makes them feel like they have wasted their time posting what they thought was a valid question.
