I've been playing musical coil packs on my I30 lately, which I finally figured out why last night. I purchased my coils through Advance Auto Parts and 5 of them ended up being made in Poland, then one was made in Japan. As some of you may know, if they coils weren't made in Japan, they will likely keep throwing codes.

So I returned the coils this morning and went to the local Nissan dealership, which is now Hudson Nissan to pick up a new coil for the #5 cylinder(the bad one). The Parts Department was literally the worst one i've been to at a dealership - I had to walk through the service department and around vehicles in the shop to even get to it, then after finally getting finding it, I wasn't very impressed. It was extremely small and only had a small stock room, so I already figured they probably wouldn't have it. The parts salesman told me it would be two days and it had to be paid in advance, so I decided to leave. I don't normally like dealing with this dealership anyways, because i've had a couple of bad experiences with them in the past, but I decided to give their parts department a chance before driving across town. They did nothing wrong, but I wasn't very impressed by the attitude they had, or how hard it was just to get to their parts department.

After leaving there, I headed to Glenn Automall, which is about 15min away. They sell a wide variety of brands there, but they sell Nissan and Infiniti too. I called on the way to make sure they had the part and they had three for each side. I got there and they had the part already waiting for me and even gave me a discount as well! Their parts department is easy access and is in the climate controlled area of the service bay. The price was the same as Nissan too, so they didn't try to jack up the price just because they were an Infiniti dealer.

I was very impressed with their customer service there and this isn't my first good experience with them either. I purchased my I30 from there and our old QX4, which we were treated very well both times. So if you need some parts in the Lexington, KY area, give Glenn Infiniti or Glenn Nissan a shout. If you're looking for a car, ask for Zach Dunn. He's sold us two vehicle now and is probably one of the best salesman i've dealt with. :dblthumb:

Nice to hear a positive review. I've only dealt with them once, when I had to get a bolt after the idler came off of my Eclipse. I was annoyed that I had to drive an hour for the part, but their service was quick and satisfactory.
