As some of you know, I overheated the Q at my Mom's house in Pensacola July 4th. I'm not going to spend the $$$ to have the engine re-built and the extra dollars to restore the car to show condition. I have enough toys to play with right now.

Open at first to 5,000 plus posters, then I'll drop the post requirement count down until someone takes it. 138K mile car that runs fine until it over heats at about 15 miles.

GoodNissan Re-man transmission installed by Infiniti 14K miles agoOEM MAF 3k milesOEM fuel pump 8k milesall periodic maintenances performed when requiredsecond owner car, I purchased it at 57k miles from a couple in south florida. never seen snow. garaged most of its life. white with tan interior. Leather in excellent shape, no cracks on dash.Everything on this car works. Pie pans like new.

Badsmall ding on front hood where a car backed into me in a parking lot 2 years ago ... then bolted. passenger mirror has been knocked loose and JB Welded back. power control still works.Water vapor discharging out the exhaust .... tires worn.Re-painted six years ago due to a lady running a red light and axeing my front bumper, paint is peeling from bumper now.

Car is in Pensacola Florida .....

sorry I didn't take any pics of the car there .... the most recent I have is from this past summer here in Jackson. PM if interested ....

While I haven't made it to 5000 posts yet, I'll take it if none of the higher post count users want it.

(Kinda sucks that you're going by post count and not helpfulness though )

My Q needs a sibling

Dude! You're a Gator???!!

I have to give the mods first shot .... they have been there for me ... but if they don't snatch it by tommorrow ... it is yours!

This car has a ton of new parts and no jerry rigged anything.

I've just moved into other toys and just don't have time for this one.

As nice as it is that he wanted to offer it to the long time contributing members, proximity will always play a big role in giving away a car like that.

Nice gesture, and hopefully it's parts will got to great use. Maybe Anlasak could get Heath's Q1 and build 1 good Q fromt he 2?

Great minds think alike Of course I would love to get it and make one good Q out of the two - but I find it to be a great accomplishment after washing a car these days, so time is not on my side...

Nice gesture.

I would have taken it a month ago, before I sold Laya.

To a good home!

So what's the final verdict? Had anyone accepted your generous offer? If not, I'm quite willing to come drag it away. I'm not a 5K poster but I am needy and not too far away... in Atlanta.

I will be surfin in once and awhile guys ... lookin for a S2000 right now, but that may change if I see a deal on a G35 coupe.

cuze Infiniti makes the best cars for the money! and this is the best car fan site on the net ....

Is that a Sienna? I heard they were surprisingly quick for their class, or am I thinking of the Odyssey?

The Sienna will scoot ... 220hp V6. The Honda I believe is 240hp, the Odo just rides stiff. The Sienna rides and handles better ... just like a RX300, even when pulling two sport bikes. You need to haul something? The toyo can't be beat.

Tony ... got the BIG metal key ... heading your way ...

you guys do a infiniti meet in the south, holler! I'll roll! Would love to see some tricked out Qs.

Great!

I'm about halfway done on the rebuild, still deciding on whether to pull the rear muffler and install some straight pipes or not.

How was Taladega?

I had a 240Z that I bolted a header on, didn't have time to weld the exhaust up before the shop closed. I drove it around that night with the open exhaust .... down Indian River Road from Cocoa through Merritt Island .... blastin! It was AWESOME!

Next morning, I was there when the shop door opened ... too much attention man.

Talladega? Cold. Raining. bikes spinning like tops ... one instant they are in front of you, then zip! guys and bikes in slow motion sliding across the wet grass.

I had a great time! Learned a lot about riding in wet conditions .... made some friends. Didn't drop it once .... all good ....
