So the dealership sent me an emergency kit. It has nifty things like jumper cables, reflective vest, flare, flashlight, candles, bandaids, blanket etc.

Are they trying to tell me something?

Maybe they are waiting for me to send in my nissan questionnaire. No dealership has ever sent me anything before, except recall notices. I'd still go for my new graduate rebate. Still waiting to hear back on that one.

That's really cool. I don't think they are trying to tell you anything Some dealer just take that extra step in order to be better than others. You never know what might happen to a new car, so being prepared and not having to spend money on buying all these things are a big plus

It just sounds like you got a cool little gift. My mom bought a Saturn a couple years back and her dealership sent her a gift too, the note with it was a thanks for her perchase.

Got a gift from Saturn when I bought my 2nd one. I got a UPS package, and when I opened it up out floated a balloon that was attached to a little gift basket. Just a dealership thing I suppose. Just consider the kit a nifty little perk

When I bought my first Altima, the dealership sent me a travel coffee mug, congratulations balloon, some other small things, and coupons. I went back there a second time and got nothing. Thats why I tried a different dealership with the Versa.

I received a very large bouquet of flowers from my saleswoman when I came to pick up the car. They were pink and white flowers with the little white ones. Needless to say, it was an awkward moment for me as a guy, but I graciously thanked her for them.

Hey cowboysfan5422, I did buy at Ericksen. They didn't do a great job of letting me know when my car was coming. I had to wait 4 months. But I've never been given a "gift with purchase" from a dealership before. Was talking to friends who deals at Mills, and they get stuff all the time. Best thing they got was binoculars. They get stuff when they bring the beast in for servicing, etc.

It's nice to know that some dealerships will try to keep their customers happy, even with little stuff, and I hope I never really have to use the kit, even though it's a nice gesture to have been given something.
