I finally got my car back from my ex-girlfriend. I had to go back to Arkansas for awhile and she ran off with my car. It use to be clean and factory fresh now well look at the pics. I figured that since it has to be rebuilt might as well do a build up. I am planning a budget build up. A real budget build up, because i am poor. I have replaced the door and the spacer between the tail lights, the gauge unit is next. I found some seats in a salvage yard. The carpet and the seats were ruined. I pulled the carpet and replaced the seats. When i got the car back i had to tow it from her grandparents house where it was broke down on four flat tires, and water standing in the floor boards. The back seat frame is rusting, but i do not see anymore inside the car.I figure since i have no build up post or a car show worthy car anywhere on here i will start a thread finally. This is where you guys come in. Since it a budget buildup you get to help. I am torn between a supercharger or turbo. I have completed a 5 lug swap, now you guys tell me what is next, No not a SR swap. KA power only, the piggy in the back ground will get a budget motor swap when this is finished. What say you crew you in. I did get her running again, no exhaust yet though, it is open after the cat. [URL]Since E7-S14 cleared the pics up for me i cleared the garbage here. Thanks E&-S14.

I agree with the turbo, but I would get the car restored to its original condition first.

how was she able to just take it. how long did she have it. how was she able to do so much damage to it, and how is she so damn ignorant to what a car needs, attention-wise.

looks like youve got a lot of work ahead of you, good luck with it.

make that 2 for turbo, dont supercharge it, you wouldnt even begin to touch the power you could get from a turbo.

Well i left the car when i left, my brother had his car we could use. after a few months she vanished. I came back looking for her, nothing. Our friends told me she starting doing drugs and left with her new friends and took my car that some other guy drove off. You would not believe the damage. What you see there is work i have already done. Water was in the floor pans because the sun roof was missing. She said the car sat out there at her grand parents for about 5 months. I wonder how many times it got rained on. She is a story in herself. Yes the car will require a lot of work, but that is what i went to school for. My problem is money, that why i am doing it as cheap as possible. I have a family now. I figure most of us are in this boat so lets see what is possible in the real world.

I threatened too a couple of times, but you know. Thats not important, what is important is the car. I have to replace the right side headlight cover, and friend of mine is going to do the body work on the lower right quater panel. Rocks seem to have put in a few little dents. After that it is time for paint.

yes in that order. take off the piping and leave it running off the exhaust. Crack throttle halfway and insert said Ex-gf's right hand. =D

Note Make sure you use a Holset to do this. big enough and cheap enough.

I have not posted in a while, been busy with other peoples cars and work. This is how it sits now. The 50.00 Rustoleum paint job. I must say i am impressed, yet disappointed at the same time. It's not perfect, but what do you expect for 50.00. The white on the side of the hood is the masking tape residue. It came off.

I'm thinking i am going for the interior next. I am in the market for some carpet now. A sound system, Clean up the mess a bit replace the gauge cluster. The one in there is a cut piece of plexiglass, don't ask me where it came from. Steering wheel, pedals, shiftknob, and of course make your own shift boot, door inserts, E-brake cover, Maybe headliner, and visor. It's a work in progress.
