i was told that if your willing to get ghetto you could build a turbo kit for about 700-800 bucks, using a T25 with an internal wastegate with a srt4 intercooler and some piping and all the other goodies

anyone else heard of this or seen it, i was told u get about 180-210 hp at the wheels on a stock KADE after this ghetto kit

let me know what ya think

I despise the word "ghetto kit"

its not ghetto if your using your own brain power to turbo a car

a t25 is small, but its nothing "ghetto" about a Garrett turbo unless you get the compressor wheel dipped in chrome in attemps to make it spin faster ( joke )

also using other people upgrades can help. turbo cars at the lowest level are not rocket science and if you just want fun boost it can be built for that much.

my initial setup was 800 and since then i have put more money into it.

If you stay around 5lbs with no IC and just a FPR you might get away with it.

Spent 1350 on my friends$400 for used turbo kit, kkk27 turbo off a porsche small fmic, some piping, manifold that ha da crack... Gave my friend my tial wastegate, bought a New SAFC $260 Fuel pump $85, Bov $50, Oil line kit $100, Downpipe $100... It can be done under $1500 but don't do this to your daily driver otherwise you'll be in trouble and spend more money. Do it right the first time

You need to fix your signature, its far to big. Look at mine, thats as large as you can go.

Search EBAY and you can have boost for $1000

LOL...

my setup was to my daily driver. i have had no down time. Timing is the biggest mistake I see alot of KA-T guys make. i bought a pretty good timing gun. before i installed my kit, i set the base timing and after the turbo was on and idling properly, i set my timing to about 15-16*. no pinging no knocking no misfiring.

boost is addictive but stay with-in your limits and you will be fine.
