Rays has already taken a dump, cutting half it's production lines and farming out the work to the usual suspects..taiwan, China, etc
Many goods are produced in these countries, so to say it's a bad thing would not be PC, but truth is, the company had higher build standards than it does now, and you'll have hell on your hands trying to get a dealer to warranty a wheel for you, because the dealers know the company are not going to back the product with the same vigor
PS: I would still buy Rays wheels, even at the risk of being left out in the cold if I came upon a defect. Dealer resources allow me for greater risk/less cost, but still I would be wary and only buy from the biggest and most powerful wheel retailers, who would likely have the greatest amount of leverage with the manufacturer.
