Ok so I don't know if you saw my other tjread in the 240 forum but my buddy wrecked his Kouki trying to street drift and his insurance company is shafting him so he is parting out the car of all aftermarket parts before they take the car. He has 5Zigen FN01RC (yeah played whatever) staggered 17x9 front 17x10 rear on stretched pirreli rubber and he wanted $500 for all 4 of them. Well I offered him $350 but will give him my stock SE wheels so he can still have the car towed off.

Ok sorry for the novel but here is the problem the lugs are typical shallow nut style (not acorn) but they are super stuck. I was able to get the pass front off with serious effort but the rest are stuck hard core. I broke two lug keys and stripped a third trying to get those f*ckers off. I soaked teh **** out of them with penetrating oil to no avail. Also the car is stuck in his driveway cuz it no longer runs and no one I know has airtools (impact gun) and I called numerous parts stores and they don't rent them either. Please help... any suggestions??

I want these wheels bad cuz I'm tired of my unsightly offset!!! HELP!!!

can you get a deep socket on them?

if so take a huge breaker bar, 2 ft or so...attach to socket, and jump on the bar till they come off

id recommend using a cheap socket or one with a warranty because you may break it...but it wont hurt anything else

Sorry I guess I didn't mention it but all the lug nuts are locking ones which mean they require a special key to "grab them". I have all locking lugs on my wheels now but I hand torque them on, some douch used an impact on these.

Yea that's what I'm talking about "special sockets" but I have broken two and stripped the teeth on a third trying to get them off, and at ten bucks a pop I don't really feel like getting more of them. I need to torch the lug nuts or something. I tried a cheater bar and pb blasted them like 3 times with a half hour soak in between each application... AHHH I want to find the guy that installed these wheels and punch him in the throat!!

I thought about just removing the hubs on the rears but I know the half shafts would wind up bieng a *****. I can't do the driver's front either cuz it has the dust cap that you can't remove until the wheel comes off. Oh well I got my boss meeting me at my friends house tomorrow with an impact gun and an air compressor so hopefully I don't F up any more lug keys.
