Im no genious when it comes to car stuff and am rather new at do-it-yourself-mods. Please help. I am hoping to bring the wire through the passenger side of the firewall.

If you want to do it on the passenger side, when you take the out the moldings between the windshield and battery, you will find a rubber dome piece looking up at you. Make a slit in it and feed your cable through there. That will drop the cable down by the glove box.

You can also go through on the drivers side. Look down the fire wall in front of the driver and you should see a rubber gromment (sp?!) with factory wires already going through. You can lube up the wire and push it through there. Having someone on the inside helps too. It can be a little difficult to locate, so a flash light will come in handy.

My power wire is through the drivers side...I think you have to drill a hole if you want to go through the passenger side.

No drilling needed for the passenger's side.

1. Remove the 5 rivet plugs that hold the battery cover.2. Remove the 2 rivet plugs holding the base of windshield trim. Lift rubber weather stripping to about 1/2 way along the windshield. Remove washer tube that runs under the front side of the trim. Rom front of the right side of the trim piece, pull gently forward, up, and out.3. Behind the battery, feed the wire through the firewall using the ECU wire bundle-feed through located near the passenger side hood hinge by either drilling a hole or cutting a slit big enough in the boot (the dome piece I was referring to) to fit the wire through. Make sure the wire passes down through the plastic abrasion protector ring.

To get access to it in the cabin, follow these steps.

1. Remove trim panel under glove box by carefully pulling the front edge straight down.2. Pull the plastic door edge trim straight back. No need to fully remove.3. Remove plastic nut holding the rear of the plastic kcik panel. Gently pull front edge of kick panel towards the center of foot well.4. Remove 2 screws at bottom of glove box panel.5. Remove 2 screws holding glove box latch, then two other screws to left and right.6. Pull glove box panel forward to remove. Careful of wires behind assembly. Rest assembly on floor being careful not to stress any wires.

No problem. I'll admit though, it can be a little difficult to see, but its there. From the inside, you can see it on the upper right hand corner on the drivers side.
