Got a S13 SR20det setting on engine stand, while I've got it out I want to do all that I can to make the performance I want , which is achieving 300hp at the wheels. Here's what's going to be done, walbro fuel pump upgrade, 550 injects, 28 potatoe turbo, front mount intercooler, and electronic boost control. Anything I should do to the engine (shave the heads or pistons/ replace), cam shaft upgrade? Or should the stock internals be able to push the 300 w/ just upgrading fuel and turbo? Any input is apprecaited! Thanks!

well, that depends on your budget. you could make 300whp just like that with the right tuning. if you can afford it i would reccomend a rocker arm stopper, some mild cams, and not much else. if you want to do more you can always buy a gasket set(~$300), some bearings(after you figure out the grade), some rings, etc. that stuff starts adding up quick though when you could do just fine on the stock setup.

Im assuming that you have an aftermarket turbo outlet and dowpipe already? You are definitely going to need a Z32 MAF and some form of engine management to control your larger injectors, but Im assuming you already have that taken care of. Other than for you If you have the money get some mild cams to help the turbo spool up and a metal head gasket to be on the safe side.

yeah, z32 maf and z32 fuel filter (does do a whole lot but makes me feel better for 15 bucks) downpipe and exhaust 3" preferably. descent/good bov so no boost leaks.

You can hit 300 without spending money on an expensive turbo like the "potato". There are many T25 reworks that can net 325+.

I hope you did a compression check on the motor. That would tell you if you should be considering rebuilding the bottom end. Especially since you have it out and on an engine stand. Trust me, it's ****ty to do things twice.
