Alright so now i got the car to start after putting a working cas into it. The car will only start with the cas turned all the way to the right. It stays idleing at about 700 rpms. If i give it any gas the car will stall. Now i know all my electrical is correct because a few days ago the car ran for about 2 minutes perfectly. than cut out when i turned the cas. I re timed the engine again to make sure it was correct. I am 99.9999 percent sure its correct. I must have 10 timing threads book marked. What else could be causing this. I am so confused lol

have you checked for codes? you said it'll only run "all the way to the left" how many degrees of timing is this? the position is reletive tahts why the holes are slotted to allow you to turn it to the correct ignition timing

have yiu verified taht the car si in fact running on all 6 cylinders?

no, but i am going to do a power balance test now that was a good idea. I think its cas related. Last time i checked codes i got a code 55 no harm in trying again though

yup, the cam should have an indexing tab on it so the cas can engage it only 1 way, my "low miles JDM engine" had a broken tab on it as well, made it difficult to get the cas on right, so I replaced the cam
