I just did a sr20det engine and manual swap in my 1990 240. I was wondering what I needed to do to get the TAC to work? Suggestions or how'tos would be great. Thanks

you need a tach out of a cluster from a DOHC ka or a jdm (sr not ca) cluster

Your problem is probably the cluster itself. Usually you only need to replace the tach, not the whole cluster.

sound like the gauge has a bias error. If the needle got bumped when you had the cluster out, could cause it.

The sender could also be suspect, but when those go, the gauge gague just falls to E and stays there.
