Would it be ok just to change the brake pads on the brembo brakes? The car only has 59k miles so im guessing the rotors should just be resurfaced. I Ordered hawk brake pads instead of the oem ones while i just get the rotors resurfaced. YAY or NAY?

on the track edition they come with brembo calipers. I ordered the hawk brake pads for the front and rear which ran $200 online. I am getting the brake pads installed and rotors resurfaced front and rear for $150. Is this an okay deal?

If you can't figure that out, I'd say drop out of school now before you waste anymore of your time and money...

Depends on what kind of Hawk pads. I did some checking around online and for F/R Hawk HP Plus pads it ends up being right around $220.

If you're talking about plain jane Hawk ceramic pads or even Hawk HPS pads $200 is high, even for pads that fit the Brembos.

I've got HP Plus pads on my S13 and they're great for the street, a little noisy on cold stops but otherwise great. I'll probably be going with something different for the Z though.

Yeah, your right about what type of Hawk pads...not sure about year either but this is what I found, '04 Zw/Brembo....Free shipping...if I did more serious searching, I could probably find it even cheaper!Front & Rear HPS $145, HP $175, Ceramics $149.
